September 2022- Past Connections Return, We vs. I, Balancing the Femin

Welcome to September 2022! Wow! We are now in the 9th month of this crazy and fast pace year. It feels like I was just writing the January 2022 forecast! We are now coming towards almost the end of another wild year! Pat yourself on the back. You have come so far and gained a new level of strength, tenacity and courage.

September 2022 is going to be a wild ride. Now that statement might not be a newsflash for many of you, lol.

We are on the brink of 2 personal planets, Mercury and Mars both headed into another retrograde phase. When personal planets go retrograde, we feel this on a more individual and closer level than when outer planets turn retrograde. Mercury, the planet of the mind, contracts and business goes retrograde 3-4 times a year so his backwards motion is less impactful but still noticeable. Mars, the planet of the masculine energy, drive and ambition going retrograde is much rarer, only turning backwards every 2 years or so.

This combination with Mercury and the upcoming Mars retrograde could have many folks confused, mentally drained and pissed off. Especially as we move closer to October when Mars turns retrograde in the sign of Gemini, we will have to watch the tone and energy of our words and actions. Always sound advice but even more important at this time. With the upcoming Mars retrograde, we will need more rest and our internal motivations could be low or just super scattered and inconsistent. I will do an article on Mars retrograde, so stay tuned. For now let's focus on this action packed month ahead.

I will begin in the second week of September which promises an adventure all in itself...

On September 9th, Mercury, the above-mentioned planet of the mind, communication, travel and business, turns retrograde at 8 degrees of Libra. He will stay retrograde until October 2nd, and then shift into direct motion at 24 degrees of Virgo. Mercury retrograde in Libra/Virgo will bring up all kinds of past issues with relationships, contracts, health and work related matters. As always, Mercury retrograde phases can bring back past exes, old business deals and thoughts that we thought were dead and gone. This is a great time to do everything that begins with RE.. re-think, re-strategize, reinvent, research, re-direct. This is not the most ideal time to begin a new relationship, project or endeavor. Now if you have to begin anything new during this time, don't freak out. It will be ok but you may need to revise it at some point in the future. This is the time to bring past projects back and to tweak them in some way. A sense of nostalgia + longing for the past could pop up for many. Balance + efficiency with the Libra/Virgo axis being highlighted will be important. If you happen to have your personal planets/points between 24 degrees of Virgo-8 degrees of Libra, this Mercury retrograde will be very impactful. Expect to clean the slate of any lingering mental issues and be born anew once he is direct. For everyone else, check where 24 degrees of Virgo- 8 degrees of Libra falls in your natal chart to see what you will be redirecting, revising and reevaluating during this Mercury retrograde period.

On September 10th, we have another emotional event with the Full Moon occurring at 17 degrees of Pisces. Full moons herald completions, manifestations and endings. They are highly emotional and ripe with intuitive hits and premonitions. Pisces the 12th zodiac sign is highly emotional and deals with our sensitivities, spirituality, imagination and subconscious patterns. The Full Moon in Pisces will bring a watershed of emotion to be purged and cleansed. This is normally the most emotional and deeply felt full moon we have all year. This Full Moon will ask that you cleanse all the past traumas and pain you have experienced in order to surrender to your spiritual growth and evolution. Many folks could have incredible dreams and visions at this time. Being extra loving and sensitive will be witnessed by many. The Full Moon in Pisces will bring forth an intuitive mastery and the veil between the spirit world and 3D reality will be blurred and highly palpable. For those folks with their inner planets/points on or close to 17 degrees of Pisces (or the other mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius) will be most impacted by this emotional full moon. Expect to end a cycle of major importance and to cleanse some deeply personal shit out of your life. For everyone else, check where 17 degrees of Pisces falls in your natal chart to see where you will be enhancing your intuition and purging past traumas and phobias.

Moving to the third week of the month, on September 22nd/23rd, we have the powerful shift from the Sun, which represents our ego, vitality and life force from the earth sign of Virgo into the air sign of Libra. Libra, the 7th sign of the zodiac, focuses on balance, commitments, justice, beauty and negotiations. We are now ready to focus more on others and create a space of more peaceful interactions and justice for all. This day also heralds the powerful Fall Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere and the Spring Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere. Equinox's are turning points of possibility, magic and portals for manifestation + intention. We are ready to shift into creating a new paradigm of releasing what no longer serves our highest good and to begin a new chapter of anything and everything being possible.

Finally on September 25th, we have the New Moon at 2 degrees of Libra. New Moons are a precious time of new beginnings, the slate being wiped clean and of fresh energy. They herald a brand new cycle of hope and growth. Libra, as mentioned above is all about relationships, harmony, contracts and balance. The New Moon in Libra is here to begin a whole new journey of creating fulfilling and sustainable partnerships. This is a great new moon to begin focusing on bringing a sense of equilibrium to all of our connections, both personally and professionally. There is an air of beauty and delight with this New Moon as Libra's ruling planet, Venus is the planet of love, beauty and pleasure. Many new connections could be formed now and we are craving relationships that are worth our time and attention. For those folks whose inner planets/points are on or close to 2 degrees of Libra will be most impacted by this loving New Moon. Expect new beginnings in many important areas of your life. For everyone else, check where 2 degrees of Libra falls in your natal chart to see where these prosperous and romantic unions will begin.

September 2022 is an interesting month of focusing on the past and at the same time coming back to the present moment. There is a contradiction there but one in which we must balance with care. This is a month where we are integrating what we have learned from the past and taking stock of what we can now create for the future. We are also preparing for the upcoming Mars retrograde cycle and eclipses which will begin again next month. A pause to reflect and redirect our energy is what September 2022 holds. It is a time of taking a breath and realizing how far we have come within our journey. Gratitude for where we have been and an excitement of what is to come is September's big theme. September 2022 is here to show us the magic of honoring our past + the lessons learned, a deep release of our personal traumas and fears and the recognition of creating a life with more balance, peace and contentment.
