Welcome to January + the New Year of 2023 and a NEW YOU!

We all learned a lot in 2022 and the universe is ready to bless all of us with abundance, joy and excitement as we roll into this new year of January 2023!

January 2023 is a reset in many ways. While we are still under the influence of Mars retrograde in Gemini and now Mercury retrograde in Capricorn, there is a massive shift that is set to happen come mid month. You can almost feel the momentum rising! A surge of energy is ready to be released and set forth! Hold tight if you can till mid month to make new major plans and to take action. Once mid month hits, all systems are a GO! Finally our ambition to move forward and to create from nothing can be realized! The universe is conspiring with you + there is a big push of energy that is on its way. Patience and perseverance are always virtues but even more so as we enter this dynamic new month and year.

I will begin with the beginning of the month which is sure to be deeply intense, passionate mixed in with a dash of practicality and substance...

On January 1st, we have the meet up of Venus, the planet of love, beauty and unions + Pluto, the planet of transformation, intensity and death/rebirth all in the sign of Capricorn. Venus and Pluto in Capricorn will produce a combo of intense passion, willpower and the drive to succeed. Passions will be on overdrive and at the same time so will our desires to get shit done and to be uber grounded with our plans. The lower vibration of this aspect is a need for extreme control and unrealistic expectations in love or money mixed with possible jealousy + manipulation tactics. The higher vibration of this aspect is the ability to experience depth, intimacy and true unity with our heart's desires and objectives. As I always say, it is up to you to decide which vibration you choose and ALLOW. Expect to feel extra intense feelings of passion but at the same time business + practical affairs will also be dominant. On January 6th, we have the beautiful and watery Full Moon at 16 degrees of Cancer. Full moons are always emotional and tend to bring matters to the surface in an intense and full on matter. They represent endings, manifestations and culminations. Cancer, the 4th zodiac sign is known to represent family, home, comfort and emotional satisfaction. The Full Moon in Cancer is here to bring forth a surge of emotion connected to what makes us feel safe and at home. Since the Moon rules the sign of Cancer, she is super duper comfy here and can manifest her greatest power and emotional depth. There will be the tendency for some lunacy as all of this emotion can sometimes backfire and display itself as codependency, moodiness or emotional overload( take it from me...I was born with a Full Moon in Cancer, wink wink). This long cycle of retrograde Mars in Gemini brought forth lots of issues with communication, travel, educational affairs and business in general. We had to learn the art of patience with an overload of mental chatter and ideas floating here, there and everywhere. Now with Mars direct in Gemini, those thoughts, plans and ideas can finally flourish and gain some serious speed. We won't see Mars really pick up speed till mid-late February but he will begin to get stuff moving as he turns direct this month. Our energy levels will begin to also rise again and masculine principles will be brought into balance. This is a great time to get that big project started as you will feel your sense of direction and drive return. Now with Mercury's direct motion, we are ready to move and groove with our plans in a practical and efficient manner. This is a great time to start a new business or to write out a long term strategy for an existing profession. Slowly but surely any delays will cease and we will get the green light to go, go go but of course in true Capricorn style which will be efficient, solid and with a grounded stance.
