Full Moon in Capricorn- Taking Care of Business, Obligation & Rules, Sensitivity vs. Structure

On July 10th, we have the super positive and hard working Full Moon at 18 degrees of Capricorn. Full moons bring all of our deepest feelings to the surface to be acknowledged + recognized. They are highly emotional and signify endings, culminations and manifestations. Capricorn, the 10th zodiac sign, deals with order, business, organization, making shit happen and rising to the top. 

This is a wonderful supportive Full Moon. To be honest, the past several Full Moon's of 2025 haven't been the easiest. We can breathe a sign of relief as this lunar event is for the most part very positive and productive. With the sensitive Sun in Cancer opposing this structured " get it done" Full Moon, we will be asked to balance out our tenderness with a plan and purpose. 

The Full Moon in Capricorn is here to usher in organization and big business plans. No other sign is as capable and as achievement focused as a dutiful Capricorn. As I have shared now in many past articles, the symbolism for Capricorn is the mountain goat. Mountain goats go days without food or water as they climb the mountain in search of the peak. Their resilience and steadfast nature is a perfect representation of what Capricorn is all about: hard work, achievement at any cost and commitment to success. This is a great Full Moon to make serious strides within a business project or any edvour where you have to be super focused and determined to succeed. Technically the moon is in detriment in Capricorn as she rules its opposite sign of Cancer. With the detriment position, this Full Moon in Capricorn is not as emotionally sensitive and powerful. Nonetheless, this Full Moon still wants to give us results and if we are willing to plan our work and work our plan, great long term success and accomplishment is guaranteed. 

The Full Moon in Capricorn will be making a lovely and positive trine( 120 degree aspect) to Mars, the planet of action, willpower and drive who is currently in the sign of Virgo. The Full Moon in a positive aspect to Mars will add a grounded ambition and practicality to our plans and projects. We will have a real "oomph" of drive as well as a critical eye for what we are creating now. If you have wanted to start a business or enhance your current career, this is a wonderful time to do so. I would just advise to be mindful of the upcoming Mercury retrograde cycle which begins on July 17th as that might throw a wrench with new initiatives but will be positive around past efforts and projects. 

For anyone with their Sun, Moon or Ascendant signs on or close to 18 degrees of Capricorn or the other Cardinal signs of: Aries, Cancer and Libra will be most impacted by this industrious Full Moon. Big endings and long term occurrences will be the norm. There could be massive conclusions around your physical well being, home/family life, relationships and career.
