Empowering and Enhancing Your Feminine Side - An Astrological Perspect

Hey Astromomma fam! I wanted to write a special article today on how to enhance and empower your feminine side, according to astrology. We each have feminine and masculine energies within us, just as there are feminine and masculine signs within astrology. When looking at the feminine side of someone, astrologers often look to the Moon and Venus signs to describe those qualities. The Moon in astrology represents: the mother, nurturing, intuition and the emotions. The planet Venus in astrology represents:$, love, pleasure and beauty. Each planet plays an instinctive need in how one expresses their feminine: ideals, preferences and comforts. If the Moon and Venus signs are in conflicting energies to one another, one can feel unsure or uneasy within their own feminine energy. Let me give an example from my own life. Once I learned how to work with these contrasting energies of my Moon and Venus signs, my: $, energy and ability to receive began to increase and I found inner peace and harmony.

My Moon sign is in Cancer and my Venus is in Aquarius. Growing up, I had a real struggle with embracing the need to feel close and secure( Moon in Cancer) while also remaining free and independent( Venus in Aquarius). The Moon is at home in Cancer and very feminine and motherly and craves: security, stability and protection. Venus in Aquarius is the ultimate rebel that is very masculine and loves unrestricted connection and craves: intellectual stimulation, freedom and no rules.

You can see how the two could really clash, where one moment I want to be very close and the next moment, I detached needing space to breathe. Once I learned that both my Moon and Venus had separate desires and needs, I began to recognize and respect both sides without feeling conflicted or just down right crazy, lol. Embracing and enhancing my femininity became simple when I balanced out the two energies. Femininity felt best when I acknowledged my need for freedom and space(Venus in Aquarius) while at the same time my need for security and comfort(Moon in Cancer). I now blend these two different energies to work for me to express my femininity, instead of working against me.
